Pre-Convention meetings
Meetings will be held in different regions of the Diocese during the week of August 22 to help delegates prepare for the Annual Meeting of the Convention. Meetings will be held on O‘ahu (one Windward and one in town), Maui, Kaua‘i, and the Big Island. In addition, this year there will be one meeting by teleconference for anyone in the Diocese who would like to participate in this way. A representative from each of the Diocesan Council departments (Discipleship, Mission, and Stewardship) will be present at each of the meetings to answer questions that arise. Delegates should download and review the Draft of the 2011–2013 Diocesan Budget and take it with them to the meeting.

Shared Travel Information
The congregations of the Diocese share the cost of travel to the Annual Meeting of our Diocesan Convention, so that we share the burden of travel equally. Each year Peter Pereira, the Diocesan Treasurer, computes the total travel cost for all Neighbor Island delegates, lay and clergy. Each congregation's share is determined by the number of lay delegates it has. The complete Shared Travel Memo explains this more fully. It also describes how to book travel.
