Planning for Tomorrow for Lay Employees
June 26, 2010 Hilton Waikiki Prince Kuhio - 2500 Kuhio Ave. Honolulu, HI 96815 (google maps)
The Planning For Tomorrow conference is offered to all lay employees of the Episcopal Church working 20 or more hours per week and their spouses and partners. These conferences are offered to your diocese about every five years, and while it may appear that we concentrate on retirement issues, there is so much more. The major focus of these meetings is to assist lay employees of the Episcopal Church in addressing different facets of your lives – including retirement plans through the Church Pension Fund for lay employees, personal savings and investing, what the Government has to offer through Social Security and Medicare, and provides an opportunity for all to discuss in a comfortable setting what you as individuals, and married couples, may wish to see for yourselves, and your families, as you look to the future.
This type of information and/or conversation applies to any age group; no matter how near or far you may be from retirement. If you have ever asked yourself any of the following questions, we fee confident that spending a day at a Planning For Tomorrow conference will be beneficial for you and those you care about.
§ Do I/we have a plan in place for today and tomorrow?
§ When can I/we or should I/we retire?
§ Where do I/we live? Where will I / we live?
§ Do I/we have a financial plan and budget?
§ What about medical coverage pre-retirement and post-retirement?
§ What steps can I/we take to be spiritually, emotionally and financially secure?
Planning For Tomorrow offers an opportunity to answer these and many more questions. It's also an opportunity to get sound financial and life planning information to insure a more productive and secure tomorrow.
The expense to you is minimal since the Church Pension Fund subsidizes most of the cost for meals and lodging as well as child or elder care expenses. The benefit of attending is priceless.
